CAE: the organization
CAE Center Amsterdam is established in 1987 and joined CAE’s global network of Aviation training centers in 2001. CAE Center Amsterdam is co-located with the Nationale Luchtvaart School (NLS). These CAE companies employ over 140 highly skilled employees.
CAE Amsterdam has 12 bays for Full Flight Simulators and over 130 airlines, aircraft manufacturers and defence forces around the world find their way to CAE Center Amsterdam. CAE Center Amsterdam holds JAR STD, TRTO and EASA part 147 approvals and as such provides integrated training solutions for Cockpit crew, Aircraft Certifying staff Maintenance (Cat. B1, B2 & C) and Cabin crew.
CAE Center Amsterdam is looking for a:
Synthetic Flight Instructor CL 300 or CL 604
The role:
Delivery of instructional activities and responsible for correct execution of all contracted training ensuring compliance with regulations appropriate to the TRTO training certification and agreed arrangements with the customer.
Principal responsibilities:
• Act as SFI to conduct synthetic flight instruction for the issue of a multi pilot type rating including the instruction required for multi crew cooperation and MCCI authorisation.
• Shall, conduct any and all Ground Training Courses as a Classroom, CPT, IPT, CAT or Stand-up lecture instructor.
• Shall conduct each simulator session in accordance with the CAE, Aircraft Manufacturer or the customers’ Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
• Shall accurately enter into the Training record system or other such repository all items accomplished during each training event, using the standard grading procedures, along with detailed notes and/or comments and/or recommendations pertaining to any outstanding performance, marginal performance, failures to perform properly, and any lack of or marginal language communications skills.
• Recommends to the Head of Training any necessary remedial training action for a pilot not meeting the standard training progress, performance and schedules prescribed by the customer.

Skills:

Requirements:
• Hold or has held a professional pilot license acceptable to the aviation authorities.
• Has at least 1500 hours flying experience as pilot on multi pilot aeroplanes.
• Has a working knowledge of aviation regulations JAR FCL1.
• Preferable has operational experience on AC type.
• Preferably holds an instructor rating or is willing to train towards this qualification.
• Instructional capabilities to be demonstrate during an assessment showing the ability to transfer knowledge and skills.
• Willing to maintain his authorisations granted by means of training and testing in accordance with JAR FCL 1.
• Excellent interpersonal & communications skills.
• Must speak, read and write English to ICAO Operational Level 5 (in compliance with the ICAO Annex One mandate for professional pilots).
Working hours:
Average of 37,5 hours per week based on a pre-determined schedule with weekdays and weekends included.
